Protect your Camera with a Rigid or Padded Peli Case

Peli cases have an almost legendary reputation for being exceptionally durable. If you use your camera equipment outside the studio, a Peli case will provide all the protection you need to protect your gear against bumps, scrapes, and even sudden downpours. The Peli 1170 case is manufactured using an incredibly durable polycarbonate plastic. It is IP76 rated, which means that the case can be submerged in up to a meter of water for a duration of 30 minutes without any water ingress. These cases even have Defence Standard 81-41 and STANAG 4280 certifications, which means that they meet the strict durability requirements favoured by NATO and other armies across the globe for military equipment. 1170 cases also have an automatic valve that keeps the pressure inside your case equal to the pressure of the surrounding environment. This means that if your case is loaded into a non-pressurised aeroplane cargo hold, the case will equalize with the surrounding environment to protect your camera from differential pressure. Peli storm cases are constructed using a high impact resin that results in exceptional durability at a lighter weight than the Peli protector range cases. This lighter weight makes storm cases a firm favourite with some photographers. Whilst the protector range is technically slightly tougher, storm cases still provide an impressive level of protection and are easier to manage on long trips.

Peli cases can either be sold as empty cases or with inserts already fitted. Inserts kits are available separately and allow you to customise your Peli case to suit your individual needs. Pick ‘n’ pluck foam inserts allow you to create fixed recesses in the foam inlay to hold your equipment securely in place. Repositionable padded separator inserts allow you to separate your case in a layout that can be quickly changed to suit different equipment. Divider inserts and TrekPak inserts both allow you to separate your case into a grid style layout.
